Flesh-Melding Chimera

Abyssal monsters possess indescribably horrific forms. These demonic creatures were encountered during the Oniyx expedition, a terrifying venture into the depths of the temple of Zaar’Phahl in Shal’Zaar. A deep unease accompanied the group’s progress through the Abyss. Though their senses were deceived at every turn, they eventually made out a crystal of pure energy. The rare discovery was nothing more than a crude trap set by a monster. The Abyssal gleefully slaughtered nearly a quarter of the group before growing bored.
